Federal Budget '16

In light of the Federal Budget and given the media's tendency to focus on the unfavourable superannuation changes, this month's Wealth Pipeline focuses on the positive takeaways from the proposals. If the legislation is passed, the below changes will come into effect 1st July 2017.

Economic Terminology

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is the market value of all final goods and services produced within a country in a given period of time.  Economists monitor changes in real GDP (adjusted for inflation).  GDP can also be described as a sum of consumption, investment, government spending and net exports.

Superannuation Changes - Henry Review/Budget 2010
