Chris Humphrey

Chris Humphrey is the Managing Director of Chris Humphrey Private Wealth Management. Chris is a financial planner with a background in accounting, tax and investment markets.

Chris was born and raised in Brisbane. He completed a Bachelor of Commerce at University of Queensland at St Lucia, Brisbane. After graduating from university, Chris worked in Chartered Accounting firms where he gained tax, accounting and superannuation experience. Chris is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA).

Chris effected a career change, leaving the accounting industry and traveling overseas. He spent close to a decade abroad working for large investment banks in England, Germany and south east Asia. His focus was in equities (stocks). Chris reached the position of Vice President for Deutsche Bank prior to returning home to Brisbane.

Chris gained his RG146 qualifications by completing a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning in Brisbane through Finsia (now Kaplan).

Chris' background of investment banking, coupled with his tax & superannuation knowledge and his passion for estate planning, allows him to provide a unique and holistic financial planning experience.

In 2010, Chris was commissioned by the Australian Tax Office (ATO) and Australian Government Solicitor as an expert witness.

Chris is an Authorised Representative (No. 328437) of Futuro Financial Services (Australian Financial Services Licence 238478). Chris is able to provide financial advice and services on the following classes of financial products:
